Spray roses and standard roses
A spray rose has a branching stem with several buds on it. The flowers are smaller than those of a standard rose, and they rarely open all at once: next to a fully open flower you will usually find a few tight buds.
Our florists use spray roses both in mono bouquets and in mixed ones, next to standard roses, hydrangea or matthiola. The product page shows how many spray rose stems the bouquet has.
Care is the same as for any rose: a fresh angled cut, no leaves below the waterline and clean water changed often. A faded flower on the branch can simply be pinched off.
Your questions answered
What is the difference between a spray rose and a regular rose?
A regular, single-headed rose has one large bud per stem. A spray rose branches out and carries several flowers on one stem, smaller and at different stages of opening.
Can the bouquet arrive at a particular time?
Yes: choose the date and a time slot at checkout. Slots start every 30 minutes; courier delivery and pickup run daily from 10:00 to 21:00, on Fridays until 23:00.
I am ordering for someone else. What do I need?
The recipient’s name, phone number and address in Astana: you enter them at checkout. If you would rather collect the bouquet yourself, choose “Pickup” and it will wait for you at Kunaeva St. 14B, free of charge.
